Record Enable award

The Record Enable award is a Specific Purpose award sponsored by Audio Engineer Emily Wheatcroft-Snape. Offered for the first time in 2022, this award will be offered annually and provided by funds raised by the sponsor and other supporters.

2 x $2000 awards for 2022

Award Purpose

The purpose of this award is to support women in music creation and encourage women in technical roles in the music industry. The award funds provide financial support for a woman studying or starting out in their audio engineering or music production career so they can buy equipment and software to build an 'audio toolkit'.


Eligibility criteria

The award is for a woman, who:

• Is studying audio engineering and / or music production

OR

• who has had their first technical* credit on a song within the past year

*Technical credit being: producer, recording engineer, mix engineer, mastering engineer or assistant engineer. 

If you are eligible for this award and wish to apply, please complete the online application form from 17th July 2023 and submit it by the closing date 16th August 2023.
